Little Miss Clucky

A good friend of mine, I've known since school, gave birth 4 weeks ago to a beautiful little boy.

I snuck out of work today to spend some time and have a cuddle with Henry. I've attached a pic of me with Henry. Don't I look good with a baby?? (Trying to convince my b/f that I really really suit having a baby).

Anyway he is gorgeous. A little miracle.

I want to go back to - Number 2 - Thailand

The pictures say it all. It is such an amazing place. I travelled there in Oct 03 with my boyfriend, we stayed Bangkok, Krabi, Phi Phi and Samui. My good friend Kate and I are planning a 7 day trip there next year, staying 5 nights at a pampering resort. I really want to go back to Krabi also. Such a magic spot.

All pics from our Thailand trip.

Krabi Beach. So divine!

Perfect Timing

I have come down with Tonsillitis. I'm stuck at home resting. Have been living off caramel and butterscotch icecream (I'm not complaining) as the coolness soothes my throat.

I'm meant to be having dinner with 5 fabulous friends tomorrow night. I'm meant to be attending our work Xmas BBQ Saturday with prawns, oysters, crayfish, lots of bubbles and good ol sausages and steaks. How can I make a MIRACULOUS recovery today to go to work tomorrow so I'm able to attend these social events?

I cannot miss out on seafood and champagne!!!! Please let me get better.

Oh and I know everyone is talking about it - but this is fabulous. I can't wait to buy a copy and then try and read French Vogue....

Weddings

What a mad week! I'm so looking forward until next friday when Ben and I hop in the car and leave the crazy times for our wonderful/romantic road trip.

The last week has been a mix of Weddings/Christmas Functions and plenty of alcohol!!!

It was one of my closest friends' wedding on Saturday. It was picture perfect at a vineyard high in the Adelaide hills (Longview). The sun sparkled just at the right time. I shed a tear and was very chuffed when everyone asked if I was the bride's sister (she is very stunning - so yes, I was shocked!!). Attahced below is a picture looking up at the cellar door. The reception was very rustic, held in a wooden barn - it was so gorgeous!!!!

I love weddings. I think they are my favorite event. I love catching up with friends who have travelled from interstate and overseas. I love the feeling of happiness and joy at weddings. I love how the bride ALWAYS seems to look amazing. I love seeing grown men cry.
